Eggs ‘n Things, a popular Waikiki eatery for both locals and tourists since 1974 is the Best Breakfast in Hawaii, was first opened on Ena Road in Waikiki by founders, Jerry and Jan Fukunaga. Their key goals were using fresh ingredients, keeping the prices reasonable, and treating everyone like Ohana (family). More than 40 years later, the tradition continues. Serving quality food and the spirit of Aloha is what we do best. Breakfast and other local favorites are served into the evening and that is another reason why Eggs ‘n Things is so loved.

Also, try our delicious omelets, always made with 3 fresh eggs. Be sure to visit us during the very first days of your stay in Waikiki and you will be back again and again during your visit, and we are sure you will make it a “MUST DO” each and every time you return to our Islands. We are often crowded, but no one is ever disappointed. We think we have the “BEST BREAKFAST IN HAWAII”, and once you visit, you can decide for yourself.

The Early Bird Gets The Worm

There is often a line, on some mornings as early as 7am, so we suggest you get here early, but everyone who has ever eaten at Eggs ‘n Things will agree that it is worth the wait. We will do our best to make sure that it is.

Once you are seated, our host/hostess greets you in classic Aloha wear of tropical design. Waitresses wear the unique aprons which were designed by founder Jan Fukunaga and her mother many years ago. The aprons remain a topic of discussion among our loyal customers, many of whom continue to ask if they are for sale. The aprons are custom made by our waitresses and can be purchased in our retail shop. They are a very popular item, so sometimes they sell out. Our walls are decorated with pictures of Hawaii in the “good ole days” so during your visit with us please feel free to walk around and enjoy viewing them.

When you’re here, be sure to also stop by our retail shop on the ground level. We sell our buttermilk pancake mix, syrups, Waialua coffee, eco-bags, T-shirts, baseball caps and much more.

Serving Since 1974

Since its beginnings in 1974, Eggs ‘n Things was created to be a restaurant for locals and visitors alike. Our Flagship Restaurant is located at 343 Saratoga Road across from the Waikiki post office and is in the third location for the original restaurant. We open daily from 6am to 2pm and 4pm to 10pm. Our retail shop is open all day.

In 2011, we opened our Waikiki Beach Eggspress location for casual dining, takeouts, and people on the go. It is located at 2464 Kalakaua Avenue in the lobby of the Aston Waikiki Circle Hotel.

Our newest location on the corner of Piikoi and Kona Street, near the Ala Moana Shopping Center, is our first location outside of Waikiki and was created in response to our local fans that wanted a location with parking. It features an expanded dinner menu, with beer and wine after 4pm.
