To date, Hunt has developed eight projects on four islands, manages more than 7,000 homes at ʻOhana Military Communities, and is responsible for the ongoing management of more than 2,000 acres of land on the Islands. Hunt’s Hawai‘i projects reflect the company’s deep roots in public-private partnerships and innovative projects.

HUNT’S HAWAIʻI DIVISION SERVICES

  • Development: Hunt is responsible for the development, revitalization, and asset management of more than 2,000 acres and one million square feet of industrial and commercial space on the Oʻahu, Maui, Kauaʻi, and the Big Island.
  • Construction: Since June 2014, Hunt and Moss & Associates, have integrated its construction personnel into Moss’ ongoing operations. With more than 20 years of construction experience on the Islands, Hunt and Moss have yielded strong relationships with owners, subcontractors, and the Hawaiian community as a whole. Our combined experience includes commercial, mixed-use, renewable energy, higher education, multifamily and military housing construction, rehabilitation as well as associated demolition.
  • Renewable Energy: As builder of the first LEED® Platinum affordable housing community in the country and developer of the 20-acre, 5MW utility-scale solar park, Kalaeloa Renewable Energy Park, Hunt is committed to delivering energy and social infrastructure projects through public-private partnerships with local government agencies and utilities.
  • Affordable Housing: Hunt’s affordable housing portfolio includes more than 63,000 units across the United States, over 2,700 units are affordable housing. Our broad experience in developing, financing, building and managing affordable workforce housing has made Hawaiʻi projects like Riverside Apartments and E Komo Mai (Hilo), Banyan Street Manor (Honolulu), Hale Makana (Nanakuli), Halawa View Apartments (Aiea), Kahuku Elderly (Kahuku), Imi Ikena (Wailuku), and Wākea Garden Apartments (Kapolei) possible.
  • Social Infrastructure: Hunt’s wholly owned subsidiary, CGL Management Group, offers planning, project management, design, and facilities management services for social infrastructure projects and public facilities on behalf of governments and other municipal organizations. Since 1974, CGL has a rich history of serving 1,700 clients and has worked in 19 countries, all 50 states, and over 900 local jurisdictions. CGL’s projects include correctional facilities, judicial, government administration buildings and higher educational facilities.
