At least once a year, we undergo an intense random inspection by a team of experts that are sent to our facility. In addition to the physical aspects of our warehouse, the products we sell are rigorously tested for quality and consistency. 2. Three Compartment, Temperature Controlled Trucks – Y. Hata & Co., Limited is the only Hawaii food supplier in the state that has committed to utilizing three-compartment trucks. With separate freezer, chill and dry compartments, we protect your product’s integrity. The bottom line for our customers will be that you will receive the products in the condition intended by the manufacturer.
3. Refrigerated Loading Docks – Ensuring product integrity, Y. Hata & Co., Limited recently expanded our chill space by 36%. This includes additional refrigerated space dedicated to the loading dock. The refrigerated dock ensures the integrity of all perishables, an essential objective during the receiving and loading process.
4. Quality Control Department – Our meticulous inspection of products entering and exiting our facility is another critical step in ensuring you will get top quality products. A highly trained staff checks code dates, identifies and pulls damages, and regularly checks temperature gauges.
5. Test Kitchen & Executive Dining Room – As a customer, you will be able to use our state-of-the art Test Kitchen and Executive Dining Room for product cuttings, menu development, employee training and corporate meetings. We are the only Hawaii food supplier offering this level of service for customer use. We also have a Category Specialist and Specialized Merchandisers available to support you.
