Was referred to Steve about 3 years ago by a friend who has taken her cars to him for many years. Since then, he has fixed and worked on all 3 of my cars (Honda Accord, Jeep Grand Cherokee , Ford SportTrac), as well as my family members vehicles.

The first car I took to him was my Jeep Grand Cherokee. It has this problem of dying out intermittently. I had taken it to multiple mechanics/shops, and they all seemed to have a different diagnosis. So many things were “fixed” or replaced, without solving the problem. I would have junked it long ago but couldn’t part with it for sentimental reasons. Then after my friend told me about Steve I gave him a call and explained to him the symptoms. Right away he had an idea of what the problem was. Not even 48 hours later Jeep was fixed ans i was driving it home. Plus it didn’t break the bank! Gotta admit, I was a little skeptical because I had been through this before with so many other mechanics. It’s now been 3 years and my car has NEVER DIED OUT SINCE!

Like other reviewers have stated… Steve is very EXPERIENCED and KNOWLEDGEABLE, super HONEST, more than FAIR with his prices (I don’t even price around anymore) and so PLEASANT to work with.

Steve, who owns Windward Auto Repair, has helped me w/my cars since he opened his business and my sons were little. My sons are grown now, and I still rely on Steve to check on my cars. His reputation among my friends is solid for honesty and reliability, affordability…and to boot he has the most likeable personality. He’s so busy now that he’s moving to a bigger spot in the same vicinity. Thanks Steve, for your years of service.
